All athletes must wear the official Dapto Little Athletics Uniform complete with Age Patch and Rego Bib number as well as the appropriate footwear for their events and ages. Uniforms are checked at Marshalling before competing in each event.

Entries are now OPEN for the 2026 South Coast Highlands Zone Championships
The Zone Championships are all about participation, community spirit, and giving your events a go against the other clubs in our Zone. This is the first stage of the championship pathway for eligible younger athletes. Athletes represent their club and may progress to the Coles Region Championships by meeting the relevant progression requirements. Whether your goal is to set a new personal best, support your club mates, or simply enjoy a great weekend of track and field, we encourage all eligible athletes to register and take part.
For those who love the competitive side of our sport, this event serves as the official qualifying pathway to progress through to the Regional and State Championships later in the season.
Who can enter: Track and field athletes from the Under 7s right through to Under 17s, U20s, and Para-athletes.
7s, 8s, 9s, 10s, 11s & 12s (Born in 2015 - 2020)
Athletes in the 9s, 10s, 11s, 12s will have a full pathway that includes the HART Sport Zone Championships, Coles Region Championships, and NSW Athletics State Track and Field Championships. The pathway for the 12s also extends to the Australian Junior Championships
7s are eligible to compete at HART Sport Zone Championships ONLY, 8s can compete at HART Sport Zone Championships and Coles Region Championships
13s, 14s & 15s (Born in 2012 - 2014)
Athletes in the 13s, 14s, 15s will have a full pathway that includes the HART Sport Zone Championships, Coles Region Championships, and NSW Junior Championships. The pathway also extends to the Australian Junior Athletics Championships (and Australian Little Athletics Championships for the 13s).
In addition, athletes have the opportunity to qualify for the NSW Junior Championships via performance at a State Permit competition.

The first 3 places at zone automatically qualify for the Region Champs plus the next best 4 performances in each event across the region. The Regional Championships will be held in Wagga Wagga from 6-7 February 2027 and the club has accommodation on hold for families. Your Team Manager will be in touch with eligible families after Zone.
